The Nextbase SDV47AM is a dual screen portable DVD player system, which provides quality entertainment, while on the road. The Nextbase SDV47AM comes with a mountable mechanism, which allows the DVD player and the slave screen to be securely mounted on the headrests of the front seats. Once the mounts are attached with the supplied straps, the DVD player and the second screen are slit into them and can be turned on with the touch of a button.
The Nextbase SDV47AM supports a wide range of multimedia formats and can play DVD (DVD R and DVD RW), CD, CD-R/RW, VCD, SVCD, JPEG, DivX, MP3 and MP4 files. The player has a separate USB socket, which allows you to simply plug-in your memory stick and playback multimedia files that you have saved from your computer or Mac. The two 7'' screens offer crystal clear picture and both screens have built-in speakers, but headsets can be also plugged in case you don't want to distract the driver. The Nextbase SDV47AM can be powered by the cigarette power cable or the main unit can be powered by six batteries (optional).

The Nextbase SDV47AM is of high quality and offers great value for money at the same time; some customers have reported that the sound, coming from the built-in speakers is not loud enough, which is usually noticed when driving on busy motorways. The batteries aren't rechargeable either and only the main unit can work with batteries, instead of both the main unit and the slave screen.
